SHORT GUIDE TO DYE BASED INK PADS - These can also be known as water based ink pads.
Dye based inked pads are quick drying and can be used on most porous surfaces. They should not be used on non porous (i.e. glossy) surfaces as they can smudge.
Because of how quickly the ink dries it is not suitable for embossing.
Ink based pads are waterbased so are easy to clean with a damp cloth or alcohol and perfume free baby wipe.
You can also create water-colour or 'marble-effect' backgrounds by first lightly spritzing your paper or cardstock with water making a bleeding effect which you can play around with to make the effect you want.
